US and EU WCS look almost the same ... but are done completely differently and feel completely different. You can expect at least 80% of dancers at every WCS event in Europe to dance the extremely different European WCS way.

My first trip to Europe, I was baffled. Folks are very nice, but the way they dance was just mystifying. This year, I got coaching that came from 3 different Pros who live in Europe but are American or American-trained. All 3 are unanimous: "You need to change almost everything" to convert from US to EU WCS. The coaching really helped!
